Please join us at the Westwood in Garwood (438 North Avenue) from 9:00am to 11:45am
Our 2019 events will begin with our spring program to be held at The Westwood in Garwood on April 30, 2019. Because we are all living longer, many of us are concerned about how long our finances will last. Over time will we be able to continue living in the same home? Will we have to adjust our lifestyle? What can we do to prepare for the future? Should we consider moving to another state? Our panel of experts will focus on "Facing the Future Cost of Remaining in New Jersey" The event will also include a free breakfast, free on-site screening from local area hospitals, and an opportunity to browse over thirty-five information exhibits on display.
Plans are also underway for our fall programs. Our "Generations In Style" Fashion Show & Luncheon will now be going into its fifth year, with every year a sell-out..
We call the show "Generations in Style" because real people from the Council take to the runway to showcase the season's latest fashion offerings. From size 6 to size 18, from 5' short to 5'`10" tall and from ages 61 to 89 years young, our fabulous models have shape, style and experience. It's real clothes modeled by real people, as the fashion experts from Lord & Taylor show us that looking good is about dressing our bodies, not our age. More details to come soon.
Our 14th Annual Health and Life Style Fair will be held
this year on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Attended by
almost 400 people each year, discussions are currently
underway about this year's program focus.
